Verification
AXON uses a private, time-limited web link for verification. Configure this feature in Dashboard → Verification, then post a verification panel.
- Enable verification and select the verified role. Optionally choose an unverified role and join roles.
- Place AXON above every role it will assign or remove, and grant Manage Roles.
- Select a private staff log channel where AXON can View Channel and Send Messages.
- Configure account-age and server-membership waiting periods, then post the panel.
What members do
Click Verify in Discord and open the private link. The link lasts five minutes. Verification checks the configured restrictions, removes the unverified role, adds join roles, and assigns the verified role last. A completed server membership cannot verify repeatedly. Rejoining creates a new membership that can be verified again.
Possible linked accounts
The browser supplies device information and a site-specific browser identifier. When available, AXON also checks the network address. Evidence is compared only with verification records in the same server. Matching accounts appear in the verification log, /alt check, and the dashboard account check. Shared devices or networks are signals for review, not proof that one person controls both accounts. AXON does not automatically punish members based on these signals.
Members who have not completed web verification may have no usable records. Browser privacy settings, changing devices, and separate networks can limit matches. Staff reports show the signal category without exposing raw network addresses or fingerprints. Optional network reputation checks require the configured service; absence of a result is not proof of a safe network.
Troubleshooting
- Already verified: Do not request more links. Ask staff about missing access.
- Expired link: Click Verify in Discord again.
- Role error: Confirm Manage Roles and AXON's position above the configured roles.
- No log: Confirm the configured log channel still exists and AXON can send there.
- Verification in progress: Let the current request finish instead of submitting it again.
